According to a couple of leakers and information from Videocardz.com, the company is already sending invites to select members of the press for a special pre-briefing event that will be held on October 7th, but the info will remain under NDA until October 10th, when Intel will officially announce the new Core Ultra 200. Availability and reviews are scheduled for two weeks later, on October 24th.
Motherboard makers are also expected to announce their next-gen Z890 motherboards on the same date, bringing the new LGA-1851 socket that will replace the now 3-year-old LGA-1700 one.
Earlier leaks confirmed several Ultra 9, Ultra 7, and Ultra 5 SKUs, while the K-series models, including the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K, will be launching later, most likely in early next year.
