Broadcom will develop 5G radio frequency components for Jobs’ Mob including FBAR filter and wireless connectivity components. The FBAR filters will be designed and built in several American manufacturing and technology hubs, including Fort Collins, and Colorado.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said the move would mean that all of Apple's products depend on technology engineered and built in the United States.
“We'll continue to deepen our investments in the U.S. economy because we have an unshakable belief in America's future."
Well, other than the expensive assembly stuff that will still be made in China, Taiwan, and India, but Cook didn’t mention that.
