Goes the way of Fusion
Following the way of almost every other notebook manufacturer, Dell has finally joined in on the AMD Fusion train with the, rather silent, launch of its 11.6-inch Inspiron M102z notebook based on AMD's Brazos platform.

The Dell M102z is a 11.6-inch WLED backlit 1366x768 notebook that will be available with obth AMD C-50 APU and the more popular E-350 APU. The notebook weighs 1.56kg and runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. As far as the specs go, the first model is based on the 1GHz clocked C-50 APU with Radeon HD 6250 graphics, 2GB of memory, and a 320GB HDD, while the second one, has a 1.6GHz clocked E-350 APU with HD 6310 graphics, 4GB of memory and a 500GB HDD.

Both models come with features like a front 1.3M webcam, 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, card reader and a choice between the 6-cell 56Whr battery, enough for around 9 hours according to Dell, or the beefier 9-cell that should keep the notebook running for up to just a bit short of 14 hours.

The C-50 equipped model starts at US $699 while the E-350 one is selling at US $799. Sounds a bit pricey, but Dell did throw in a feature or two that other lack.

You can find them both here.
