HyperX, previously a gaming division of Kingston Technology and now a part of HP, has announced its Alloy Origins compact gaming keyboard will start shipping in EMEA.

Priced at €119.99/£109.99 MSRP, the HyperX Alloy Origins 60 is actually the first HyperX 60 percent gaming keyboard with HyperX Red linear mechanical switches. The keyboard measures 296x105.5x36.9mm and weighs 781.5g, making it really compact. It uses USB-C to USB-A connection, features 100 percent anti-ghosting, N-key mode key rollover, and has media control and game mode options.

The aforementioned HyperX Red mechanical linear gaming switches feature an operating force of 45g, have a 1.8mm actuation point, with a 3.8mm total travel distance and an 80 million keystroke life span.

HyperX also included RGB exposed backlit keys which should offer brighter illumination and has five adjustable brightness levels. The RGB lighting is controlled via HyperX NGENUITY software which features customizable per-key lighting effects. The keyboard also ships with a keycap puller, additional accessory keycaps with HX ESC keycap, and a special HyperX-designed spacebar.

As noted, the HyperX Alloy Origins 60 is unfortunately only available in US/NO layout in EMEA, with a price set at €119.99/£109.99 MSRP. It will be available as of March 22nd, through EMEA's network of retailers and etailers, and in the US layout version directly from the HyperX EMEA website.
