While a couple of mini-ITX AM4 motherboards have already been announced, including some from Gigabyte and Biostar, the Asus ROG Strix B350-I is the first Asus AM4 mini-ITX motherboard that has been spotted. Earlier rumors suggest that Asus will also make an X370 version as well but we have yet to see if this one will have a beefier VRM or some other high-end features.
Although not yet officially announced, the new Asus ROG Strix B350-I has been spotted at the Swedish Inet.se site and also includes a set of pictures, showing some of the features. As expected, the ROG Strix B350-I will only have two memory slots, single PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot and four SATA 6Gbps port and at least one M.2 slot, although the site suggests it will have dual M.2 slots.
It also packs quite a few connectivity options, including two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, four USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, integrated 802.11ac WiFi and 7.1-channel SupremeFX audio. It also comes with Asus' AURA Sync RGB lighting with on-board RGB header and LED strip on its side.
Currently, the board is only listed in Sweeden at 1899 SEK inc. 25% VAT, which is about US $230, but we will still wait to see the official price in the US and the rest of the Europe.
