As leaked and rumored earlier, we are looking at a rebranded Galaxy Watch4, slapped with a sapphire glass on top of the screen. The Galaxy Watch FE also only comes in a 40mm size, which is a surprise considering that the Galaxy Watch4 was also available in a 44mm size. In case you missed earlier leaks, the Galaxy Watch FE features a 1.2-inch 396x396 resolution screen with a Super AMOLED touchscreen, and is powered by Samsung's own Exynos W920 dual-core SoC running at up to 1.18GHz, paired up with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. You also get a 247mAh battery
The watch features an aluminum casing and the aforementioned sapphire glass across the screen, which is a nice addition considering it is an FE series. It gets an IP68 rating, and the usual connectivity like WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and more. Samsung also included its own BioActive Sensor and other sensors. The Watch FE runs on Google's Wear OS with Samsung's One UI on top of it. You get all the usual workout apps, heart and sleep monitors, and it also gets Irregular Rhythm Notification, which can measure your blood pressure and ECG.
As said, the Galaxy Watch FE will be available on June 24th and starts at $199.99 for Black, Pink Gold, and Silver color options. The LTE version gets the price up to $249.99.
