Spotted by Playfuldroid.com, the unknown device with 4GB of RAM, running on Android 7.1.1 OS, managed to get 2004 in single-core and 6233 in multi-core test in Geekbench benchmark. The Qualcomm MSM8998 octa-core SoC ran at 1.9GHz and it is possible that the final score will be higher once it launches with Samsung's Galaxy S8. 

While the results are not as high as expected, it is still quite impressive, putting it way above the Snapdragon 821 SoC or the Exynos 8890, which currently holds the highest benchmark score with Android OS.

Hopefully, we will hear and see more before it officially launches with the Galaxy S8.
