According to the latest rumor, AMD could hold a special event to unveil its new FSR 4 technology in late January, alongside the flagship Radeon RX 9070 XT. The same leaker suggests that the Ryzen 9 9000X3D CPU could launch at the same time.

This will be a big event for AMD, and while the new naming scheme has already leaked online, there are not many details about the FSR 4 technology, other than it will be "fully AI-based." As far as the GPUs go, the Radeon 9000 series will be based on RDNA4 architecture, but so far, there are no credible rumors regarding the actual specifications.

The same leaker, Hoang Anh Phu, also suggested that the Ryzen 9 9000X3D series, with 16-core and 12-core SKUs, will also launch in late January. and so far, these are expected to maintain the same high frequency as their non-X3D counterparts. Bear in mind that this was not the case with the launched 8-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D SKU.

The CES 2025 show is just around the corner, and AMD is expected to at least hint at some of these launches and reveal more details.
