Probably using the same custom PCB with stronger VRM as the earlier released Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme graphics card, the new Zotac GTX 1080 Arctic Storm also comes with a full cover water block and a decent factory-overclock. 

As expected, the Zotac GTX 1080 Arctic Storm is based on the Nvidia GP104 Pascal GPU so it packs 2560 CUDA cores as well as 8GB of GDDR5X memory clocked at 10GHz and paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. While the reference GTX 1080 works at 1607MHz base and 1733MHz GPU Boost clocks, Zotac managed to slightly raise those clocks to 1632MHz GPU base and 1771MHz GPU Boost clocks, although we suspect that there is plenty of overclocking headroom left, especially when paired up with a higher liquid cooling system. 

When it comes to liquid cooling, Zotac equipped the GTX 1080 Arctic Storm with a full cover ArcticStorm water block which uses direct copper cold block and feature 0.3mm micro-channels. It also comes with a full-cover backplate, features standard G1/4 fittings and comes bundled with barbs for 10mm inner diameter tubing. The water block also has plenty of RGB LEDs which are a part of Zotac's SPECTRA LED lighting system that can be controlled with Zotac's FireStorm software.

Zotac did not reveal precise price details  but we expect it to see it on retail/e-tail shelves soon. Unfortunately, we do not expect it to come cheap, mostly due to a custom PCB and a full-cover water block.
