First GTX 460 1GB listed in EU
Costs €40 more
Our favourite price search engine has listed first the Nvidia GTX 460 card with 1GB of memory and a couple of new GTX 460 768 from various partners. The best part is that both the 768MB and the 1GB one are listed at the same shop so we can now get a bit clearer picture regarding the price difference.
Of course, bear in mind that these are first listings, and listed only in one shop, so price might be even lower once major retailers/e-tailers join in on the fun. Currently, both Gainward GTX 460 cards are listed at it-markt Austria with a €205,06 and €245,84 prices. This means that the 1GB version costs about €40 more and most important question is the performance difference between these two cards.
Reviews should start to show up on Monday, July 12th, and then we will know for sure. The GTX 460 768 usually retails at around €200, while we already wrote earlier that GTX 460 1024MB should be around €30 more expensive.
