Intel jumps from DirectX 9 to 12
On Xe, Arc GPUs
Intel has moved from native DX9 hardware support on its Intel's Xe integrated graphics solutions on 12th Gen CPUs and A-Series Arc Alchemist discrete GPUs to DirectX 12.

Kills support for DirectX 9
Blizzard has recently released its latest Battle for Azeroth pre-patch for World of Warcraft, which has both finally added support for DirectX 12 as well as killed support for DirectX 9.

AMD releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 18.1.1 Alpha update
Temporary fix for DirectX 9 titles
As expected and confirmed by AMD's Terry Makedon earlier, AMD has now released an alpha version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin drivers which fixes issues seen in some older DirectX 9 games.
