While Sony might have decided to pull Cyberpunk 2077 from the Playstation Store, the game is still doing good, at least according to CD Projekt Red, and the developer/publisher keeps patching the game so all issues should be fixed soon.
13 million gamers bought and decided to keep it
According to CD Projekt Red, the game has sold in over 13 million copies across all platforms since its launch on December 10th.
To make things even more interesting, this number excludes pre-orders as well as all the refund requests until December 20th, which should be the most of refund requests.
This means that over 13 million gamers or so, since some own the game on multiple platforms, has decided to buy and keep the game between December 10th and December 20th.
The Cyberpunk 2077 1.06 patch fixes save game issues on the PC
CD Projekt Red released the new 1.06 patch yesterday, which eliminates the 8MB save file size limit which means that future save files won't get corrupted. Of course, this does not fix save files that already are corrupted.
The new 1.06 patch also improves memory management and stability on consoles, as well as fix the quest issue with Dum Dum going missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
