There is no difference in frame rate between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version of Diablo 3 with both console versions churning out 60fps. As for the resolution, the PlayStation 4 will render at 1080p, while the Xbox One will be rendering at 900p and upconverted to 1080p.
There is no word if the developers will attempt to take advantage of the extra 10% of GPU performance offered by not using Kinect in order to crank the frame rate up. Frame rate is said to be the priority with this game and we have been told not to read much into the difference in resolution between the two.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil edition will arrive on August 19th on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation versions of the game will include exclusive enemies from The Last of Us and Shadow of Colossus.
