DICE is committed to bringing Battlefield Bad Company back for a third run eventually. While it has been talked about the studio is working on a number of other projects at the moment beyond getting Battlefield 4 out the door.

It is already known that the company is working on the new Star Wars: Battlefront 3 and Mirrors Edge 2. With the addition of DICE LA which used to be EA’s Danger Close studio, DICE has more resources, but still it is thought that the studio has pretty much all it can handle with the three titles that it is working on now.

While comments from those at DICE have suggested that the franchise is just on a long vacation, it will return at some point in the future. As of right now however the studio has confirmed that a Bad Company 3 title was not in active development at this time.
