This is a change from the original plan for the North American release for the PC to take place on Tuesday May 29th. Rockstar has elected to launch the PC version worldwide on the same day, which just happened to be the original European release date.
As part of the Take-Two financial report we also found out that over three million copies of Max Payne 3 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were shipped to dealers around the world. Take-Two is bullish on the potential of Max Payne 3 on the consoles and is also expecting significant sales of the title on the PC when it arrives on June 1st.
