Activision has registered a number of new domain names that has caused quite a stir. The domains included make references to GoldenEye Reloaded. While the company has no official comment at this point, it is hard to say what Activision might be up to.

Speculation that we hear suggests that it could, in fact, be a reboot of the GoldenEye title that was released for the Wii last year, and that will be released in a new form for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Some talk suggests that it is more likely a conversion or re-imagined version of the N64 classic GoldenEye that will be made available as a downloadable offering.  We find that talk much less likely.

The domains registered included: goldeneye007gamereloaded.com, goldeneyereloadedgame.com, goldeneyereloaded007.com, and goldeneye007reloaded.com. With the registration of four domains, we have to think that something is up; but Activision naturally isn’t ready to talk about it yet.
