Simultaneous release of standard and "S" models possible

A week ago, we reported that alleged prototypes of Apple’s upcoming tenth-generation smartphones were released in a YouTube video comparing dimensions, features and aesthetics between three new devices.

Last year Apple requested between 85 and 90 milion

According to a new report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily Times, fruit-themed giant Apple may be ordering several million more units of its tenth-generation iPhone units than previously expected by Wall Street investors. Asian news outlets are claiming this is the highest production target the company has set since the initial shipments iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units were manufactured in 2014.

iPhone lineup would become on par with three-model iPad lineup

According to a recent Chinese media report, Apple may be switching its naming scheme on the Plus-sized iPhone models for its tenth-generation iPhone 7 launch later this fall, to one that is more consistent with new product announcements in the third quarter of 2015.
