Android P or Android 9 has officially popped up on OnePlus 6 and proved that there might be a home for Android segmentation after all, at least in the super high end.

October 17^th launch

It is no big secret that OnePlus has very close ties with Oppo and this company already demonstrated some mind-blowing designs including the camera sliding Find X. OnePlus 6T seems to be launching on October 17 at 11.00 AM and comes with an in display fingerprint reader.

XL too in New York event

Google has gone on record and set out invitations for its hardware event to launch Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Since people have the phone and reviewed it in Russia and people left it apparenrly by accident in an Uber car, it is time to officially present it, good two months later.

Slightly outperforms Galaxy S9+

Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expected in early October and there's little surprise that they will be powered by Snapdragon 845. The XL version of the phone has visited Geekbench, revealing the score and some basic specs.

Starting at €420 in Europe

Xiaomi's  Pocophone lineup has been rumored earlier and it appears that the Pocophone F1 could be the most affordable smartphone with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC, rumored to be priced at €420 for the 6GB/64GB and €460 for the 6GB/128GB version.

Snapdragon 845, 660 and 636

Qualcomm announced that it plans to fully support Android P on select Snapdragon mobile platform. Having early access, that enabled Qualcomm to optimize its software on Snapdragon 845, 660 and 636 mobile platforms to ensure readiness for OEMs to upgrade to Android P at the time of launch.
