Built around a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1250nits and 144Hz refresh rate, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is a pretty big and hefty smartphone at 161.8x73.5x8.4mm and 198.5g. The front and back are protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and it features an aluminum frame, just as you would expect from a flagship smartphone.

It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, backed by 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

You get all the usual high-end connectivity with WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, and all the usual sensors, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It comes with an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, and, a 4610mAh battery. Although the battery could have been bigger, it supports 125W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, and you get 12 hours of usage for 7 minutes of charging.

The star of the show is obviously the rear main camera, a triple sensor one with a 200-megapixel main sensor. This is the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 1/1.22″ sensor with 16-in-1 pixel binning, so you get 12.5MP images. It can also do 50MP images or even 200MP ones. It sits behind an f1/1.9 wide lens with OIS.

The main sensor is backed up by a 50-megapixel 1/2.76" sensor behind an ultrawide f/2.2 lens, and a 12-megapixel 1.22µm one behind an f/1.6 lens with 2x optical zoom.

The front camera is a 60-megapixel one behind an f/2.2 wide lens.

The new Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be available in black and white color options and starts at around €900 in Europe.
